Team Cayote wins in Style at EFRA 1/10 Off-Road European Championship 2025 – Top 3 Big Win!

We are thrilled to announce that Team Cayote has achieved a monumental victory at the 2025 EFRA 1/10 Off-Road European Championship, Team Cayote drivers taking the top three spots. With David Ronnefalk claiming the title of European Champion in 1/10 4WD, he marked his 10th Euro title!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our drivers for their outstanding team performance and product support:

David Ronnefalk: “What an amazing set of finals today. I gave it everything I had from 4th on the grid and I was never going to give up. I pulled off some great moves in the mains and especially towards the end of A3. It could not have gone better, so happy right now! My Cayote powered Xray XB4 with Hitec servo was on rails and gave me the confidence to SEND IT in the finals! ”

Michal Orlowski: “P2 at the 1/10 4WD EFRA European Championships at Hudy Arena. I have given everything I had this week to bring home the win in such difficult conditions for all of us racing at our competition’s factory tracks and on their tyres. We came so close, but a mistake on my side with 20 seconds to go in A3 cost me the win this time.”

Bartek Zalewski: “European Championship is over and done. In 2WD, the speed was there in the two qualification practices, where I finished P1 in both, but they were not counting for the final grid unfortunately. In qualifying, a P2 in the two qualifiers gave me the fifth starting position in the finals. In the finals, I was one point short of the podium, finishing P4. I am happy with this result, but I know the pace was there for something more. In 4WD, P1 and P2 in qualifying gave me 3rd on the start of the finals. I am happy with the finals, P2 and P2 gave me 3rd overall; this is my first podium at Euros and won’t be my last one.”

We are SO proud of the performance from Team Cayote, as our drivers showed incredible passion, precision, and patience, all while executing pure controlled speed. A special shout-out to Bartek Zalewski, who came incredibly close to his first EC title. Amazing effort, Bartek – we’re all behind you!

Effective immediately, Team Cayote’s competition-proven Cayote electronics and batteries and select accessories are now available exclusively through Amain Hobbies’ distribution network across the United States and Canada, with select products live on AMainHobbies.com.

Driver Interviews: A Personal Connection

This year, we took the opportunity to interview our signed drivers, as well as other participants at TITC, to hear about their experiences. We learned that for many drivers, this was their first time visiting Thailand, and they were excited not only to race but also to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of TITC. Many mentioned how the energy and competitive spirit at the event was truly inspiring.

We also asked the drivers about their thoughts on using CY products, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Team Cayote Shines at the 2025 TITC: Team Driver Performances

Team Cayote delivered exceptional performances at the 2025 TITC, one of the most prestigious international touring car events. Our drivers showcased their skills, with some thrilling moments that captured the attention of everyone at the event.

A huge congratulations to our driver Michal Orlowski, who secured TQ and 1st place with a dominant performance throughout the race. His consistency and speed were unmatched.

The battle for the podium was intense, especially between Marc Rheinard and Bruno Coelho. In A3, Marc and Bruno were locked in a thrilling duel for 2nd and 3rd place. Every corner saw them fight for position, but in the final corner of the last lap a small “bump” unsettled Marc’s car.

Marc reflected on the close race, saying:

“In A2 and A3, I had completely passed Bruno. In the second-to-last corner of A3, I was really fast, but just 5 meters before the corner, I hit a curb, and that allowed Bruno to get past me again. After the race, I was feeling mixed emotions. I was so close to second place, but I couldn’t quite cross the finish line. That said, I’m really happy with the performance of my whole setup. As always, @teamcayote’s electronics performed flawlessly under the hot conditions! It was also my first time using the Cayote Modi 4.5 motor, and I was really impressed with its performance and look!”

In the Non-Boost Class, Our rising star, Jidapa Kachchapananda, impressed everyone by starting from pole and taking two dominant A-final wins, securing her first-ever TITC victory at just 14 years old. It’s clear that Jidapa is a future champion in the making!

In the Tamiya Porsche GT class, Benz from Thailand dominated all three finals, securing Team Cayote’s third TITC win. His flawless performance from pole position to victory was a testament to his talent and determination.

Team Cayote’s success at the 2025 TITC further solidifies our position as one of the top teams in the world, and we’re excited for what’s to come!

Team Cayote’s Marc Rheinard TQ’s and Wins GP3F 2025

The European top 1/10 Touring Car drivers began their racing season at the 2025 Edition of the GP3F challenge in France, from January 17 to January 19. With more than 100 entries it was another great show, with the event being as popular as ever, and drivers like Marc Rheinard, Michal Orlowski, Ronald Volker and Alexander Hagberg it was clear to be action packed. After some tough qualification battles with Michal and Ronald it was Marc showing his Team Cayote package was on top of everything, with a powerful and flawless display of performance.

No less than 50% of the top 6 were powered by Team Cayote power systems, outperforming the competition and displaying their latest technology with its vibrant own style and colors.

The first final showed some small hiccups of both front row leaders, but after 3 finals the dust was settled with Team Cayote’s Marc Rheinard adding another astonishing win on his CV, taking top honors once again. Congrats Marc! And of course congrats to Michal and David with their great performances in all 3 finals.

Next up is ETS, lets see if Marc can make it a double in 7 days time. Stay tuned!

Jilles Groskamp Wins 2024 IFMAR 1:10 On-Road IC World Championship

Bangkok, Tailand – Jilles Groskamp, one of Team Cayote’s racing ambassador, has once again secured his place in history by becoming the newly crowned IFMAR 1:10 On-road IC World Champion. This remarkable victory marks a thrilling 12 years after his previous World Championship title in Electric Touring Car, showcasing his still enduring talent and determination at the highest level of RC racing.

The road to victory was paved with impressive performance, as Groskamp secured Super Pole, earning him a direct entry into the 1-hour Main Event. From the start he smartly controlled his race, ultimately cruising to his victory and securing him and Team Infinity a multi–World Championship title. Groskamp’s victory marks a significant achievement not just for himself, but also for Team Cayote as a whole.

Ronnefalk Excels in 2024 Across Multiple RC Classes

David Ronnefalk, one of Team Cayote’s World Team members, has been racing and visiting Racing events with much success in 2024.

At the 1/10 4WD class attending the Euro Buggy Masters and Euro Warmup, he secured TQ using a Crest X speed controller, a Crest 4.5T motor, and a Team Cayote 4400mAh shorty battery, using his Team Cayote power system to reach maximum performance and results.

David also secured 2 podium places at the 2024 Swedish Nationals 1/8 E-Buggy NXC Grand Prix, for which he used the Crest 8 speed controller paired with 6500mAh shorty batteries combo, showcasing Team Cayote’s product versatility across different classes and racing conditions.

In the 2WD Class at the Euro Buggy Masters, David earned a solid 3rd place finish using Crest X speed controller, Cayote 5.5 motor and 4400mAh shorty battery.

His success continued at the Dirt Nitro Challenge, where he took the TQ in the international field for the 1/8 E-buggy class with his Crest8 Power combo.

David Ronnefalk’s achievements this season highlight not only the superior performance of Cayote products but also his exceptional driving skills, which both continue to set new standards in the world of RC racing.

Cayote Shines at 2024 ETS R1

The 2024 ETS R1 race brought together some of Europe’s top riders in an exhilarating display of skill and speed.

The 2024 ETS R1 at the AMCA track in Apeldoorn, Netherlands brought together some of Europe’s finest drivers for an exhilarating display of skill and speed. Team Cayote and its members were present to see their Team Drivers and products securing several great qualifying runs to be able to compete in the A final for the win.

In the Touring Car 1/10 Modified class, Marc Rheinard secured an impressive third place, with Yannick Prumper, Jilles Groskamp and Atsushi Hara taking their well-deserved final positions.

The flawless performance and reliability of the new Crest X ESC, batteries and motors secured the drivers its trust in Team Cayote products and we look forward to their next race appearances.

One week after the ETS event, Cayote driver David Ronnefalk showcased his exceptional performance and Racing talents in the off-road 1/8 Buggy category, finishing a remarkable second in the both electric buggy A final as well Gas Powered A final. In Electric Buggy David showcased the full Team Cayote branded and in house produced power system, the Crest 8 ESC, Crest 8 Motor as well the Cayote LiHV Racing batteries.
