Personal Experience
Ryan Maifield is one of the most decorated RC drivers in history, having started racing at the age of 6 and still ranking among the best in the world more than 30 years later. A determined competitor on the track, Ryan’s experience and expertise in race preparation, craftsmanship, and set up has been instrumental in the development of some of the most popular products available at JConcepts, ProTek RC, and other RC manufacturers. His crowning racing achievement came in 2017 when he swept the 2wd and 4wd Buggy titles at the 2017 IFMAR 1/10 Electric Off-Road World Championships in Xiamen, China.

Ryan’s family life with his wife Stephanie and two young children is his most prized time, especially when they are out camping or boating. Ryan also enjoys off-roading, cookouts, and spending time with his multitude of friends in the RC racing industry.
